CRYSTAL GEYSER® ALPINE SPRING WATER® is proud to sponsor the reforestation efforts of American Forests (americanforests.org), the nation’s oldest nonprofit conservation organization and a world leader in planting trees for environmental restoration.
CRYSTAL GEYSER® ALPINE SPRING WATER® has renewed our partnership with American Forests. CRYSTAL GEYSER® ALPINE SPRING WATER® has planted 50,000 trees a year since 2001. Our renewal will mark a grand total of 500,000 trees by 2012. As they grow, these native trees will provide important environmental benefits such as cleaning the water we drink and the air we breathe. From salmon to salamanders, bears to bald eagles, the life-sustaining trees will provide habitat for an array of wildlife including threatened and endangered species like the red-cockaded woodpecker. These trees will take in tons of carbon dioxide, a leading cause of global climate change, as well as create scenic vistas and recreational opportunities for generations to come.
In addition, CRYSTAL GEYSER® ALPINE SPRING WATER® is donating thousands of bottles of its ALPINE SPRING WATER® to keep American Forests’ volunteers hydrated during tree planting projects.
Since 1990, American Forests has planted close to 20 million trees in ecosystem restoration projects across the United States and around the world. The planting sites are areas that desperately need trees because they have been damaged by wildfire or other causes.
